 My boss went there on business. He didn't have any problems. Istanbul and Turkey are great places to visit. Lots of history. Have fun.

| I went on a Mediterranean Cruise two years ago and I would absoluately recommend Istanbul, for the cultural experience if nothing else. I was in awe with the Blue Mosque and when we were there I saw many young boys dressed in elegant costums to celebrate their circumcision. It was a great experience, but I can't help you out with hotels etc, as we stayed on the cruise ship at night.

| my answer is a big YES!istanbul is one of the most exciting cities in the world.one side there are lots of skyscrapers and on the other side the ancient palaces,mosques and churchs! while shopping in the world's second largest shopping mall ( Cevahir ) you can taste the unique Ottoman cousine.This is Istanbul, where the west and east get together.Have lots of fun in Istanbul!
