Will I have to take the driving test again in France (I have a CA driver licence)?

I am not going as a tourist --- no need to mention internation driver licence.

I have a CA driver licence and I might move back to France next year, I wanted to know whether I need to take the driving test again once there, or will the French government give me an equivalent licence directly?

actually I googled it and CA and FR don't exchange licence....

good evening,
you can have a temporary driving license if yours was edited after 2004 (page 12 of the PDF document)
after a period of 2 years ,you have to pass an exam.
but, contact the french consulate in Frisco (to confirm this)
