Why do Americans look better than the British?

I dont mean to sound rude or ignorant but I noticed that people in the U.K look different from their American counterparts as in the overall majority of americans look better than people in the U.K. By better I mean......its kinda like how most african americans look better than their African counterparts(not racist by any means) but people in the U.K seem like they've had a hard life, alot of them are pale and have bad teeth or it could just be that most americans look fake and superficial with excessive make-up,tanning, teeth bleeching, e.t.c?????? or it could also be economics b ecause usually rich people who speand alot of time and money on their looks look better than poor ppl...help me out here, maybe there is a reason why people in U.K look slightly less attractive than Americans????

Pale skin = Lack of sun

Bad teeth = You have more flouride in your water and your dental care is cheaper.

But i totally agree, i know a Bunch of Americans and they are really pretty. Facial shapes. Smiles. Bodies.

Bad genes? I think i remember my history teacher saying something like us English had bad teeth hundreds of years ago..

Americans are a little richer though...

well actually i'm from america and also thats wat you think but really you should see alot of people in your place and think about and also everybody different so we don't always have to look good in some point...

I can't speak to the relative beauty of the respective populations, but there is no doubt the characters on the British version of "The Office" are uglier than the characters on the American version.

Your question is totally sweeping and in my opinion completely ridiculous.
You have never seen ALL British people the same as you've never seen ALL Americans. There are good looking, slim wealthy people in every country not just America. I look around me and see beautiful people everywhere, there is something good to see in everyone if you look properly. It's not all about model looks, sun tanned skin and lithe bodies, you have to see people with compassion and understanding. Some of the most shallow people I have come across in my life have been 'magazine' beautiful whereas the ones who are more natural and open are the loveliest. It all depends on what you define as 'good looking'.

The second part of your question is right, they have more fake tan's more plastic surgery, teeth bleached etc, its not that we look any different just more natural.
