 Where in the UK is the perfect waterfall to propose to my girlfriend? *** It must be a beautiful waterfall (doesn't have to be big) with a small cave where you can sit underneath the waterfall and both see and hear the water flowing down. ***I have had the waterfall idea for a long time and I got this book Waterfalls Of Scotland (where I live) which is usefull but I am looking for something specific such as a cave waterfall. It is important it is somewhere beautiful that can be special for us so we can visit in future years on anniversaries etc. So Scotland would be ideal as I live there but if I have to travel to Wales or England for such a waterfall I will.It is not possible for me to visit all the waterfalls of Scotland never mind the UK so please fire away with ideas or suggestions and I will look them up and probably visit them before the proposal.

| im not sure if there is a cave but theres a nice fall in lanark > the falls of the clyde ..just follow the tourist signs

Durham the highes unbroken waterfall in the UK.ORI know you are after a waterfall out in the country but as an alternative you could try this http://www.waterfallspa.co.uk/It is a spa in Leeds have a great weekend away relaxing and do in then.Good luck and I hope it all goes well for you both.

| There is a beautiful waterfall on Dartmoor, but I don't know if it has a cave.It is called Canonteign Falls and it is a very popular attraction. www.enjoyengland.com
