What are the requirements needed to apply for a passport and a visa to Canada?

This is my first time to travel outside the country and I really don't have any ideas about the processes and the papers that I need to undergo. Please help me!

To get a passport ... it depends on what nationality you are. Check with your national authorities.Visa: also depends, at least partly, on which country you're from. If you're from the U.S., Japan or the European Union countries, you don't need a visa.
