What are most teenagers looking for in their hangouts?

Lately, there has been a Hookah phase around my area and a lot of teenagers are really enjoying that. Its one of the biggest hangouts in my area. What else do most teenagers look for in their hangouts?

I like going to places where I can just sit and talk to my friends.. coffee shops, hookah bars. I'm not a big fan of clubs. And I'm not old enough to go to bars. I still go to the mall with my friends. I know it's a little lame, but it's nice to shop and eat.
