what are the best souvenirs to get from Istanbul?

I will be in Istanbul, Turkey for a week in August. Looking to ship back all sorts of authentic Turkish goods. What do you suggest?

I recommend rugs, leather (cheaper here) as the standard tourist stuff. I also bought some tapestries and a glass mosaic chandelier.

go to the grand bazaar and you will find a big and good collection of souvenirs there.

There are two famous touristic places on Sirkeci, Istanbul :Kapali Charshi and Misir Charshi. You will lose your eyes there, chosing for souvenir
