Very important travel question (Badly need help)?

I renewed my American passport on July 2nd, and I desperately need to travel before Aug 2nd. I even paid $175.00 to make it come faster. I renewed it July 2nd. When will it get here? What should I do? PLEAZE HELP!

Unfortunately, due to the new regulations for travel to and from Canada and the Caribbean, many people are having to wait upwards of twelve weeks to receive their passports. One option would be to pay a personal visit to a regional passport office. I believe they are equipped to handle requests very quickly.

Well, given your situation, I'd say it will arrive somewhere around August 3rd. From what I've observed, the weirdos who decide how long passports take (who seem to be the same weirdos who cause all other inconveniences) just love to be a pain in the butt...

Not much you can do. There was an article on-line tonight regarding the back log of passports. Hate to say it, but you should have given yourself much longer than 30 days. You are in a long line. Sorry.

Contact the place where you renewed it. They may be able to look up the progress.
