marriott vacation club-----i have been offered a free stay at their place?

as a compliment if i attend a preview presentation of their services.
has anyone come across such offers? or is it worth it?

think about it like a business, would you offer someone something free if you thought you weren't gonna make money off of it?

hyatt keeps sending my mom these kind of offers and if you dont mind enduring the sales presentation its a good deal. make sure you read the fine print tho, because at least with hyatt if you accept the invitation and you don't meet the qualifications (like good credit or a certain age or income bracket) they will charge you the rack rate for the time you spend there.

Yes, it sounds like a timeshare tour. You will most likely have to take a tour that will last about ninety minutes followed by an aggressive sales pitch. Just be careful to make sure you read the fine print before you make plans because if you don't qualify based on your income or marital status they'll take away their offer. You'll be stuck there without a hotel to stay in. Other than that, they're usually worth it.
