I was born and raised for 8 years in chicago, and now my family and I moved down south because my dad's company moved us here. And the worst part is, is that now they're laying off people and telling them to move to india, chicago, or mexico because that's where the main headquarters are for my dad's company. I'm 15 and I didn't realize up till 2 years ago how much I actually miss the city. I miss all my old friends, walks on lake michigan, navy pier and pretty much everything about the city. I've told my parents I want to move back many times, but they still aren't fully convinced. Plus, my dad doesn't want to move back because housing up there is expensive. But the education system is so much better compared to the south and my dad's all about education and ivy league colleges and stuff.I'm also planning to attend university up there, so if we move before my senior yr. out of state tuition won't be an issue.What can I do to persuade my parents?
