How good of a life could you live in Germany with a â‚¬60,000 annual income?

How about â‚¬45,000 and â‚¬75,000?

Depends on where you live. 60K euro is ok, it would get you further in the states (ie: 69K usd). In the larger cities, an apartment will probably cost you 700-800 euro per month, in a good district with a one bedroom. Everything is more expensive in Germany, groceries, clothing, gas..etc. Also, taxes in Germany are extremely high, so if 60K is before taxes, expect to bring home about 35-40K after taxes. I would hold out for more money if I were you.
