How do I find out a previous flight number from the departure date/time?

 How do I find out a previous flight number from the departure date/time? It was a flight I had to cancel, and now I want to redeem the credit (but I didn't place the order, it was placed in my name by a friend, otherwise I'd just look it up by my account). Anyways, the flight departed LIT (little rock, ar) on 16 March at 1800 to Tucson, AZ, and returned 25 March at 0500. The flight was with American Airlines. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
