 Is Hawaii a nice place to live for a military family? My husband got an offer to re-enlist with the military and one of the locations he could choose is Hawaii. I realize that it is expensive but I was wondering if it is worth it? The other locations are on the East coast close to New York. Hawaii jumped out at me because I have never been there but I don't want to make a decision to live someplace that would be better as a vacation spot. I have three kids so I would also like to know about the school systems if possible. Thanks
