I work for Air France (on the advertising side). In 2006, Air France KLM became Europe's Number 1airline in terms of passengers and the world's number 1 airline in terms of financial turnover.AF has come along way in 10 years. 10 years ago it was close to financial ruin.In France, AF has a very strong, positive, almost luxurious, image mostly due to some very good ad campaigns. Obviously, French people will tell you that our preferred airline is AF. But I'm interested to hear non French people's views regarding AF's customer service, inflight meals, comfort and onboard entertainment....As corporate minded as I am, I think that alot of the European carriers (including AF) have much to learn about customer service from some of the Asian carriers (Thai, Singapore).I'm interested to hear your thoughts.@jeanimus and @simont: i feel for you. I think that bad experiences like you described can happen on many airlines but when they happen to you, you NEVER forget. Désolée

@simont : on second thoughts, at least you're alive! That's the UP side 8-D@jeanimus: Actually, Air France isn't responsible for the signs in the airport. That would be the actual airport's responsibility.@thunderstorm : Thanks for the sweet answer. I bet you're a Canadian. Non complaining, easily satisfied
