Do flights get more expensive closer to departure date or cheaper?

Also, with regards to security and flying (from Glasgow), what do you put into the clear bags, and what are you allowed/not allowed to take? Is contact lense solution ok?

i think they get more expensine , still prices tend to change within the hours and u can nvr b specific. u r not allowed any sharp objects, even nail cutter , batteries and any kind of fluids in the flight, maybe in the baggage area but not on ur person> n they r quite uptight bout fluids, so i don't think you'll b allowed the contact lens solution
