| I am planning on cruising the caribbean in january on the norwegian cruise line ship Spirit. I was just wondering if there really is a big difference between the oceanview and inside rooms on a cruise ship. does is really matter to have that tiny window? do u get clustrophobic without it? any opinions on this are helpful! |

| It does not matter!!! Ugh, those rooms are so small, regardless of locale (unless you are rich and get a suite) that you are only there to sleep and pee. Seriously!

| That all depends on you. If you're claustrophobic, an inside cabin might not be such a good idea. If you like to sleep in, inside cabins are great because they have no natural light. Also, if you prefer being up higher on the ship, but cannot afford an outside or balcony, an inside gets you up higher for less. I prefer a balcony cabin to an ocean view. If you buy far enough in advance, the cost difference in minimal on most newer ships with high balcony ratios. The biggest benefit to a balcony is having your own personal outdoor space. Cruise ships, no matter how large, can get crowded.
