 In 1991 I spent 3 weeks in Dunoon, Scotland working for the Philadelphia Naval... ...Shipyard---in Holy Lock.? Holy Lock shut down shortly after I left, apparently because the town decided it didn't want any nuclear submarines operating in the vicinity. I was wondering---How has Holy Lock and Dunoon fared since the exit of all the American civilian and military personell? Did it affect business and tourism? I found Dunoon to be a wonderful town but was wondering if getting rid of the US military could have been an example of cutting off it's toes to spite it's feet. How has Dunoon changed since 1991/1992?
