clairvoyant and psychic are two different things. a clairvoyant doesn't necessarily claim to see the future, but can "see" or know of things currently happening that would be outside the range of the five traditional senses.

a clairvoyant is a person who claims to communicate to the dead, people go to them so they can speak to lost loved ones.

In the dictionary it says it's where someone can see ojects and things past the normal vision range. So they have like super-vision or something I guess.
