| Not long ago we stayed away from ghosts and haunted places. Now they run through graveyards and houses.Holding microphones, cameras and videos.Snapping pictures taking readings, seems like a nuisance. Are they treating ghosts like "Britney Spectres"? TR,I like Pararozzi better. It has an O for odd and I like The Oz yhing. I also meant to use that y.

| Yes, I think you do run a certain risk of people "claiming" they've caught a (formerly) famous being in an image (film/digital/video) -- likewise with EVP. The claim shouldn't be made randomly unless you can prove it -- well, to the extent it can be proven. Like one I had where I was led to track down information from the late 1800's; it was a chore but I managed to back track from the dead man's date of death to his house that he'd purchased in 1860 which "just happened" to reappear in a 1957 newspaper article on the front page as it had a long history of people who had lived there dying within the first year or two of buying the house. Is it 100% fact? I believe the articles are real...does that mean that's how he died? Maybe, maybe not --- I take it with a bit of faith that is what he wanted me to see and it doesn't REALLY matter if its 100% fact that the house was 'jinxed' or not. I also found an article where they had shut down the local stock exchange early for his memorial...they don't just shut down the stock exchange early. Based upon my findings, I could reasonably ascertain that the spirit I had come into contact with was at one time "important".

| Well, if their investigations are as credulous as those done by TAPS on Ghosthunters, or even worse Most Haunted, I do think "parapaparazzi" is the more appropriate name for them. The term "investigation" implies a critical analysis of the evidence which generally seems lacking in the paranormal investigations I've seen or read about. EDIT: I mean paraozzi is good too
