 Is there any proof of mass precognition? whiile driving two days ago, across an overpass onto i35 in tx. i had these eerie thoughts of the bridge collapsing. i usually don't think of these things often,probably as much as anyone else, i guess. but this "daydream" was especially "vivid". now we have a bridge collapse in the news today. i am almost certain that other people did too have this experience. is there a place where someone charts and studies stuff like this. is there any hard facts or stats that back it up.

| No, I don't think so. There's really no evidence of any precognition. You probably thought about a thousand random things yesterday that didn't happen or nothing happened that resembled them. It's called the confirmation effect - you remember the hits and forget the misses. Whether it's imagining a random catastrophe, thinking of a friend who then calls you, or humming a song that comes on the radio, it happens all the time. It's just a coincidence.
