| Unfortuantely, there is no way to solve it except to purchase a new LCD TV (a different model and/or make). This is one of the problems with LCD technology and it was a very big one when they first hit the market. Newer, higher-end LCDs minimize this problem by having a fast "refresh rate", but older LCDs and the lower-end ones still sold today still suffer from this. The only way to avoid it is to check out a demo of the set before purchasing it and make sure they show you some fast-moving content (sports tends to show "ghosting" VERY well).
