Anyone out there that has the Holy Ghost and has spoken in tongues?

I've had the Holy Ghost before and have spoken in tongues. My friends of different religions do not believe in those things. I explain the feeling but they seem to have closed ears. I do not get upset with them but wonder if what I am doing is just a figment of my imagination?

yes it's a biblical experience found in the book of acts and unfortunately, the people on this site aren't going to understand. you're not weird - it's a spiritual thing.

Praise God, I Was Filled With The Holy Spirit, And I Was Given The Gift Of Speaking Tounges, And I Love It I Feel So Good When I Talk To Our Heavenly Abba. Pray That They Will Open Their Spirits And Recieve The Special Gift That Jesus Christ Has For Them .... 1. it is in the bible ..it says these signs will follow them that believe they will speak in new tongues, also read about upperoom and the book of Acts.2. I know a Lady who spoke in them, after the church service was over a Chinese Man visiting the USA from China came over to her and told her he understood everything she said, I believe it was the Brier wood Assembly of God church in Houston Texas.

Praying in tongues is a powerful weapon against the enemy. When you pray in tongues you pray, not out of your mind, but your spirit-man is praying. When your spirit is praying it is praying out devine mysteries that only God understands. Because of the incredible power released in such prayers the evil one seeks to make all believers who have been baptised in the Holy Spirit and spoken with other tongues think they are crazy. And it is not to hard to reach that conclusion since your mind can't understand what you are saying and if others were to hear you they would think you are acting foolish. I have, in fact it was last week at a youth camp during service, my friends were praying 4 me and then I began to speakin tongues, I began to cry and fell on my knees and it was amazing!

you are hanging out with the wrong crowd.you need to be with others of the same faith as you are.a lot of us are spirit filled and speak in a heavenly language.

how can you explain the wind.how can you explain the taste of ice cream.how can you explain a relationship with the Holy Spirit.pray in the spirit to build yourself up.when you have doubts, pray.you have the Spirit of God to lead you and guide you.and yet you receive doubts, form those that have neither.therefore strengthen your self in the Lord and the power of His word.

It is a wondrous experience. It usually happens when I am praying or just praising the Lord and these words come to me that I have never heard. But I know that God understands. It's hard to explain the joy I feel when I'm that close to our Heavenly Father.Please do not think it's your imagination, it's a personal gift from God. Embrace it!
