| You stand over the ball more with your irons and the result is during your back swing you tend to get stuck or and your right knee gets locked up. also called reverse pivot, [to come out of reverse pivot you have to push the club out away from the body and then you will have to bring it back down and across the ball. trying to get back online with the ball resulting in a slice].try to your normal stance and swing and watch your legs and feet. then try placing both feet shoulder wide, with your toes pointed out from center about 30* degs \ / like so. this will allow for your hips to clear better and also help to prevent reverse pivot. also practice slowing down your back swing on your iron every time. you will need to make a extra effort make sure you slow down. you sould be hitting nice and straight now!
