I recently bought a "Super Sour Spray with Lollipop" made by War Head (The super sour candy maker) from Walmart and sprayed the liquid portion of the candy into a tiny container to drink it. The first shot was so powerful that it I couldn't swallow it right away, thus, the liquid remained in my mouth for about ten seconds. I followed this process once more with much of the liquid still remaining in the small container. I had offered some to my girlfriend when I stumbled in front of a mirror only to find many tiny areas of my painful tongue were actually leaking small amounts of blood. Not a big concern, but it definately raised an eye brow. Does anyone have any clue what this is about and why?

That is why your supposed to "spary" it. Since you drank it (which wasn't very smart), you ate too much of it at once, so it made your tounge bleed.

It could be that your tongue is sensitive to the amount of acid content in the candy. Has this happened to you before with a different brand of sour candy? I suggest you run a little experiment on yourself to test this theory. If you find that your tongue bleeds on several occasions with other brands of sour candy, it may be wise to stop eating it. But hey if you like the taste then go for it.
