volleyball help?

I play back row for my highschool volleyball team. I want to get better for this year. My coach told me if he were to line everyone up and have them bump to him I would be the best one, but during a game I'm not very aggressive. In my head I want to be but I just get nervous that I'm going to mess up and have the time I don't even go for it. But I want to fix that and I want to get better. Any ideas of what I could do to get better or to be more aggressive ?

You have to push yourself. I know it's very hard, especially how you're the best in the team, it's not very competitive. But try playing other people who are more challenging for you. Ask your coach for tips. Always think positive. Always KNOW that you're going to win. Lead your team and teach them how to play better. Be the leader and win. =] Good luck.
