Value of clubs?

I recently had my clubs stolen and the airlines wants a price for the clubs. They were an old set of ping karstens and I know they were worth about $100. The thing is that my grandfather gave me these clubs and would be my most prized possession I ever received from anyone ever. How do you put a price on this for the airlines?

I doubt they would pay for any sentimental value, but don't forget to include the new ping tour bag, new ping putter, ping umbrella, rain suit, and a few dozen pro v1 golf balls. And I don't know but since you were traveling you might have had your golf shoes in the bag. In other words don't forget to list everything you had.

I kinda agree with AL S . even if the actual iron set is only worth $160.00 you still have to replace everything in the bag and the bag. I suggest you do not cheat them but remember not to cheat yourself.What would Your Grandfather do.Did he play it where it lay or kick it to a better spot?
