...time or that for people born fast? Im wondering cause its summer and im trying to get back in the groove and im practicing and conditioning for next years track team. And I havent ran the 200 in awhile but i have been running longer distances daily but im interested in getting an impressive time with the 200m my time was 27 seconds when i timed today...Im not sure if thats even good at all...Would some people help me out with this problem? ThanksIm 15..im 130 lbs..5'9 i think im in a good shape. I have a few months to work im just wondering what i can do to improve my speed.

You can certainly improve your 200m dash speed through the use of Amphetimine Sulphate or "speed" as it is known on the streets.Simply snort a few wraps an hour before your race and you should be able to shave a few seconds of your time.Avoid prolonged use though as it could lead to paranoia, trouble with the police and weight loss.

Hey Brandon, 27 secs. is pretty impressive, but I know you are looking for something like 22. Genetics and body composition matter, but so does will power. There are specific strength exercises you can perform to increase the muscle mass you need in the correct areas. There are plenty of running books and internet resources. Speed is only gained through strength, foot turnover, and stride. You will need to become a student of running; you already possess some talent. #1- find a real running coach.you are past the stage where you can do anymore on your own. You need an observer and an adviser to help you get to the next level; however, it is the intensity of your will power that will matter for you to get through the workouts you will need.#2- Learn about the psychological aspects of running. Visualizing is an example. Spending time seeing yourself running a 22 sec. 200m. Running the race in you mind step by step #3- Nutrition and weight managementHealthy food, healthy muscles. Every extra pound you have will hold you back, but you can get too thin. Find your peak running weight.Good Luck !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
