Wilfred Benitez was a master boxer, one of the very best. Cuevas' attack would be too one dimensional. Benitez would dodge Pipinos' bombs, then begin to frustrate and tire Cuevas out with slipping and landing counters; Benitez wins by TKO in the 10th.

Benitez by unanimous decision.Cuevas doesn't have the skill to hang with him.

Dam good match up, but I give the edge to Benitez, he moved better, and although Cuevas was a heavy hitter, if Benitez could go 15 with Hearns, he could last against Pipino as well. I just don't see Cuevas out boxing Benitez.Benitez by decison.
