I am going to buy a 9'0 longboard. What is the difference with thicker rails and

between epoxy and fiberglass? I ride a 6'10 epoxy surfboard and am ready to get a longboard. Im not sure if fibergalls rides better or where i should get a board from for under $550. i live in south orange county.

Fiberglass is on both types of boards. The difference is in the resin. One is polyester the other is epoxy.
Thicker or fuller rails usually mean more flotation.
As for the price. Every place is different. Try looking for a used one.
