how long does i take to be good enough at surfing that you are actually having fun?

I mean like so you are relativly has good as the other surfers around, so they accept you.

it took me 3 times at it to have fun. usually its alot of fun if you go with friends.

depends on the kind of boardget a large board, and you should be having a great time your 2nd or third time going out.it's always great fun, just to be out in the ocean anyway.

the fun starts when you learn to ride the face of the wave rather than just riding the wave straight to the shore....it is not hard it just takes patience and the right conditions.............

it really depends on how you look at it.. if youre on a board that isnt for you and the waves are not for you then youre not going to have alot of fun i mean getting pounded by surf and being held down alot is not ideal fun just dont let the learning process get to you it takes a while and relax
