Golfers! Help me build my new set of clubs?

I am a relatively new golfer. Have played quite a bit and taken some lessons. I definitely have a lot of work to do, but I want to get better. The time has come to trade in my old Costco set of Golden Bears for a more serious set of clubs. I have never played with hybrids, but that seems to be the way of the future. What clubs do I need to fill my new bag (besides the obvious putter, SW, PW)? I know I need a driver....but have no idea about the angle I need. What about hybrid clubs? Iron set? What brands should I be looking at? Ideally, I'd like people to propose a complete list of the clubs I should have in my bag to take my game to the next level. Thanks!
