No guesses, please...I'll need a link to where you found the answer, or the correct average age if you just "know".dj don you never cease to amaze me with your "intellect"... if you wanted 10pts instead of 2, you could try to find it....I already know the answer, I'm just trying to give people more interesting questions than the usual rubbish about Lewis bloody Hamilton.Very good Chadikas, 2007 is probably going to end up 2nd on the all-time list... it's not the top season, however. 16 of the 20 GPs with the lowest average age per driver all happened in the same season, as 5 of the 20 youngest F1 drivers of all time all drove together that season, in case that helps.Yes Caroline, I'm afraid it is just the McLaren team. I haven't checked but I suspect that even Hamilton and Alonso aren't the youngest pairing ever in the sport as a whole.

According to a 2001 article of the Telegraph"In 1955, the average age was 34 years, 10 months. In 1975, 31 years, two months. In 1995, 29 years, one month. [In 2001] the average works out at 27 years, 11 months."And I might be wrong but I calculated that this year's average is 27 years and 8 months.
