It will because even though many think he "cheated" by using steroids at the time he used them they were not banned in baseball. In fact the steroid cream he used is still not banned, because it is a topical lotion that does nothing to enhance performance. Unless you consider staying healthy enough to play an enhancement.A good reminder is that Bonds had about 450 home runs BEFORE he used the drugs and was on track to hit at least 700 in his career already. He also might not have missed as much time as he did because as you age steroids will cause your body to break down faster than it naturally would. They also help you to heal from those breakdowns faster, by using higher doses.Bonds might still have been on course to break the career record anyways. Besides it makes (I can't believe I'm saying this) A-Rod's chase of the record all the more exciting in 9 or 20 years.

NO, everybody knows he used roids. his trainer was a dealer. there have been many people say he has. and he went from 185 lbs and 35 home runs a year to 230 and 70home runs give me a break. the home run king is Hank Arron. Barry Bonds is a cheater and a liar and thats why nobody respects him anymore he was one of the best hitters ever before the roids and was a hall of famer before but he lost everything. in my mind he is a cheater.

Yeah, because the homerun record set by Hank Aaron is the most sacred mark in baseball and breaking it will set another mark.
