I looking to buy my first bike and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good website where I can look at the specs of all kinds of motorcycles both older and later modelsI'm looking to by a road or street bike and I live in the United StatesAs far as I know there are no laws pertaining to new learners. I think I have to have a license if I ride a motorcycle larger than 50cc's

Not knowing your size and weight makes it a little hard to recommend a bike for you. Certainly, you can always go to the Main brand Bike Websites such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki and get all kinds of specs on different types of bikes. Simply do a search on the names above and you will find their websites very easily. The best thing to do though, is to physically "go" to these dealerships and talk to a salesman about your desire. Do NOT purchase a bike if you can't "sit" on it. The most important thing for your first bike is you being comfortable on the machine. A bike that is too heavy, too tall, too much power etc will end up being a regrettable experience and investment. I hope you find that perfect bike for your needs and desires.Good Luck!
