why are there so many stupid people in the world?

for one thing, I think the blame is on the parents. I see so many parents not even looking after the kids' educatoin or well-being well enough and they have absolutely no control over the kids. They just let the kids run wild and be stupid. It's also the brains of the people. For example, I asked a person to click on a link on a homepage and the persson said, "where is it?" where the link is located in the center of the page, big prints, you cannot miss it! Why do people act like idiots and not use common sense? I read that only 7% of the world population have common sense. I think it's less than that!

Everybody thinks that about everybody else. Im sure you have had a few moments that made you look like the idiot. We all walk a different path in this life, so, what is common sense to you may not be common sense to others. As for parents, the best thing you could teach your child is tolerance and compassion. Im only guessing but I would guess that you don't have any children. When you do, then maybe you can judge.

I know exactly what you're talking about! I deal with the exact same thing at my job. I think this behaviour has its roots in today's society of convenience, where such service is expected everywhere; that there's always someone to do it for you. If people grow accostomed to having everything spoon-fed to them, their sense of self-accomplishment becomes atrophied. If they don't know what to do, there's always someone like you and me to come up behind them and "show them the link." And this throws a huge wrench into our collective learning as a people. Which leaves me to wonder where the world will be when our children lead it; when those who were raised in this society of zero common sense, must figure out the world, and how to get by in it.
