Many would disagree here; just because I'm racist does not make me a bad person.1. Once, two poor Black children were begging in front of my car. They looked so famished. Instead of dropping a dollar at them (which would have been seized by their addict Father in any case), I went inside the deli and bought them two bagels. They were so happy and I smiled back at them.2. I once gave a ride to the hospital to a pregnant, Black woman she might have collapsed walking otherwise and I also helped her get registered in the ward with my own identity card as being poor she had none of her own.There are many such minor incidents in which I did help out people from other races when they needed it. The point is racists aren't all that bad; we just believe in self-preservation and living among our OWN people - White people. We want non-Whites to stay out of our interactions. Birds of the same feather flock together and good fences, make good neighbors.Self-preservation and racial preservation is a NORMAL activity. Not willing to mix with non-Whites is well within my First Amendment rights to "privacy". I do am able to choose what kind of people I mix with.SLAVERY is overSEGREGATION if overNow I just wonder why do non-Whites especially Blacks have a chip on their shoulders anymore. You mind your business, we mind ours = that's where it ends@AvieThank You. Despite being non-White, you understand our position. No, I do not hate any races and do treat people on an individual basis when required.I hope more Whites rack their brains to understand this distinction. If non-Whites can show respect to a White racialist's position, I wonder why not Whites gain some self-respect

I wouldn't call you a racist. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with having preferences and to me, it sounds like you have nothing against people of other races, you just don't have the desire to mix with them for whatever reason. I can totally understand and respect that, even though I, personally, am not that way. (My family is part Chinese on my father's side, I have a few cousins that are half-black and my brother will more than likely marry a Chinese lady. My husband is part Native American. All three major races are represented in my family--we are already mixed, so I'm sure you can understand, even though you will not agree with, my position.)I have a loose view of racism. When I think of racism, I think of automatically disliking/hating a person and wishing them harm, among other bad things, because of their skin color alone. Or assuming that they're inferior. To me, it doesn't sound like you consider them inferior, per se, but you just want to be with your own people, as you see it. Nothing wrong with that. I'll choose my own family over a stranger any day, even though I certainly would wish that stranger no harm and would help him out if I could. (Lots of times, I can and I do.)

seized by their addict father?? did they tell you this or did you just assume it?of course being racist you see nothing wrong with it. my people are other human beings. anyone who is peaceful and not full of hate i count as being one of my "own".when i help someone i don't say oh i helped a black person or a white person, i just helped a person.editafter seeing some of your answers to other people's questions i have to agree...you are a racist.

you are a racist because you are not treating all people equally but you generalize a group of race (black people) to be criminals or drug dealers.. then you expect not to be generalized back as a racist by many black people who do the same thing and generalize you as a racist because you are white and white people did slavery, killed 6 million Jews, have supremacist groups still now and who used to lynch and kill races, had Stalin and Mussolini who are fascists.. so really you generalize black people as criminals but not expect to be generalized your self as a racist... black people have to put up with being generalized and scrutinized for everything they do....you must feel a bit like a black person being genralized...

First off you're a liar...There's no way that you were able to register someone in a hospital under your name if they are a different race. Second, being nice to someone in need is what you're supposed to do. Third, if you're racist, you have an evil heart and I wouldn't want your help...even if I was dying. I would never give you the pleasure.
