What do you think of the Emo culture?

Well, i honestly don't mind it.

The only thing I don't tolerate is the message some bands send across to kids. For example Hawthorne Heights. They're talking about slitting your wrist to rid pain. WxTxF. Not even joking.

Don't complain about life you loser, other people have it WAYYYYY, WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY worse i can't stress that out enough! >: (

And besides that I hate those "We're emos, and we're people too!!" groups on myspace and bebo.

So just get a life, tbh I just dig the style. So w/e thats just my opinion

Its just a new bastardized spin on other old genres.
Sometimes it bothers me a lil bit that unlike other youth subcultures emo's stand for nothing. IMO if you see something wrong with your world your obligated to try to fix it, not just cry about it.

But... old school punk rok here so...

Personally, they drive me crazy sometimes. They think they're so unique and 'out-there' but they actually all look and dress the same. And they're a bit too 'teenage-angst' for my liking.
