How can one help eradicate world poverty?

And who do you think is responsible for world poverty or even just that of a nation?

Basically, you have to have a lowered population. Our population is growing in the world at a magnificent rate. Basically, we will fight for resources, and in that process, more resources for the comfort of others will take away from others who need them. Basically those who are prosperous will put down the poor to maintain their wealth. So...Stop greed in the world, and maintain equal oppurtunities for everyone, and lower the population. thats what you need to do. "god" and "miracles" wont do it.

Good thought. I believe there is enough food in the world. There just isn't enough sanitary or safe places to distribute an store it.

Try kiva.org or an investment in a Grameen bank. Anything you can contribute to education and better health will help people do better for themselves in the long run.

Population growth has turned out to be less of a problem than we thought 30 or 40 years ago. AAMOF, world population is expected to peak before the end of this century and then to decline as the economic value of children goes down, their mortality rates drop (So you don't have to have 8 babies to have 2 children that reach 25.) and women gain more control over their own bodies.
