how does the force from gravity change as your get closer to center of the earth?

This is GRAVITY, it`s affect between two or more objects,and the force is affect their center of gravity, as we known , the center of earth is center of gravity, so the force from center of earth pull us to be closer.

Well if you move away from the Earth, the force of Gravity decreases. So if you get closer to the center of the Earth, the force of gravity increases.

The force of gravity that we feel results from attraction to the mass of the earth. As we move toward the centre of the earth (underground) the mass that we have already passed attracts us upwards and results in a decrease to the overall downward pull of gravity. Once we reach the centre the forces on us are in balance - we may then be very weakly attracted toward the moon
