 1.take 3lt bottle full & empty it into the 5lt one which leaves 2lt space 2.repeat step 1& this leaves 1lt water in the 3lt bottle3.now empty the 5lt bottle and pour the 1lt water from the 3lt bottle4.repeat step 15.you see that 4lt of water is left in the 5lt bottle
