The worst thing you ever did to your child and SPANKING?

I saw the question "What is the worst thing you ever did to your child as a punishment" and some of the answers drove me mad - "Spanking isn't considered a bad thing" - of course it is.It's better to leave the child to be raped late at night or to fill the bath-tube with hot water (or cold water - I've done that) and leave the child tied there or to put a rod in the girl's vagina.Spanking is very humiiating method and it cuts the self-esteem of the child.Let us be people - who are you to spank the poor child???

I have done the thing with the ath-tube and hot water to my daughter (3-year-old).It really works and the child obeys and isn't naughty any more.Spanking isn't an effective method - it just humiliates the child

I dont undestand any of what your saying...if i got it rightStay away from children ?OMG im disgusted... that man vbelow left his child out on a street at night and you think thats good parenting ! A CHILD DIS_OBEYS its a child, who ever you are dont you dare RAPE or but your child in a hot bath and burn it or a cold bath and give pnamonia or something you are a terrible parent....!OMG im upset now thinking that people do this to kids !

Well lets see... in the most recent parenting study, time outs (with and without explanation of why the child was in trouble) were proven completely useless in children under the age of 4. But... take a wild guess at what was effective?! Spanking! Amazing! 2 warnings, and a spank on the bottom, works like a charm in studies and real life. Spanking is not the same as beating. It is a simple pat on the butt that doesn't leave a bruise. It is not inhumane or 'the worst thing ever'. Your comments are ridiculous, and uneducated.

Definitely these are better discipline methods than spanking (hitting).The child just learns to hit when you hit him/her.But once you show him that after disobedience a hot bath-tube comes...the child learns.Once I left my son (he was 9) on the street late at night - punished him after bad behavior.One man there saw him ad took his clothes away.Since then my son never disobeyed again.Never had I have to spank him.

You two are messed up in the head. You don't do this shit to a child. It made me want to throw up and I hope you seriously get some help.For some reason you sick people think that putting your children in serious medical danger is the right thing to do. I'm glad there's CSD for the internet. A child out of control is still a child and you don't need to mentally scar them to acheive your goal. If you do, your just messed up.FOR ALL WHO POSTED AFTER ME: I reported this to Child Protection. I hope they catch these sick bastards.

I have never heard of any such punishments. I have never done those things as a punishment. Whoppings is fine but a punishment is just that. It's not suppose to be a retirement. There's definitely some people that need their parenting revoked. Raped. Tub of water. (hot or cold) Tied to anything, and a rod in her pussy. Sick bastard. After these types of punishments a child least worry is self esteem. Think about that for a minute. So to all you physco half azz parents. I pray what ever you thought was punishment I pray you feel the raft. This is why we have Virgina Tech babies. and Jeffery Dulmar infants. or the Atlanta child murder cousins. SICK SICK SICK

Everything your talking about isn't just simply a matter of opinion, but off the wall lunacy. I disagree with you, spanking isn't considered a bad thing. If you don't like that approach for your children, then simply don't use it. This can't be a real question
