Ok I am have a major problem. My kids go back to school soon and the sitter they go to now is out of their school zone...and the bus will not drop them off there. So now I am trying to find a sitter in the school zone for them. Which is hard since the zone is not very big. I am not going to send them to a daycare for and hour a day and pay $150 a wk. So I am debating on quitting my job and start watching kids at home. What do you think. I have been at this job for a yr, I like the people and the company but it is not busy enough for me...Got any suggestions.
I am trying to find out about where other kids in the neighborhood go. I would trust my son home by himself but not my daughter. They are 9 and 8 so I just dont know what to do. I am so confused. The lady that watched them last yr did work and got to work from home in the afternoons. And she is not sure yet if she will be able to do that again. And as far as changing my hours here...oh they wouldnt go for that. Company too big to let just one person do it, they would have to let everyone do it. Plus I work in TN but live in MS so I would have to go out of my way to get them to the sitters house after school. The line to pick up the kids at school can take 30-45 mins sometimes.

yeah you should stay home. Because I used to work for a nanny company and they charged 10 a hr then 2 per kid. SO it gets expensive! A stay at home mom will be fun and if you realize that you want to get out in the world then go get a job. Good Luck!
