Kryesore Step-parent Adoption....how long does the process take?
I live the state of CA and my husband is going to be adopting my son (Father has already agreeded to adoption) and we where wondering if anyone knew how long the process could take?
Well, currently the dead beat has not paid a lick of child support in 5 years (we never have had a judgement just a verbal agreement) so , I basically told him if he did not agree to this that I would be filing for back and current child support and sense he owes the state $40,000 already for another child from a different relationship he agreed he did not want to have owe any more money and also that it was in the best interest of our son since he has had only minimal with him.
