side effects from coming off the pill?

Ive been on the pill for 8 years now and was due start the next pill packet monday just gone. Me and my fiance have decided that now is a goot time as any to come of the pill and let mature take its course. Just wondering if you can get any side effects from coming off the pill, i was on Logynon if that makes any difference!

Don't know about the pilll but I just stopped my Nuvaring 2 weeks ago- have had period like cramping and tenderness even 2 week slater- called my Doc about it (I have a history of having cysts, though not lately), he said most likely it is my ovaries 'firing up' again, stretching back out, after being 'shut down' for 1+ years. he also told me to call again if it persists more than another week or so. I had no idea that was a side effect!
