Today i was listening to the radio and a story got brought up about a 17 year old boy who got put in jail for having CONSENSUAL oral sex with a 15 year old girl. This kid got sentenced to 10 years in jail. The law stated that if he would have had "actual" sex with the girl, he would have been let go with a misdemeaner. But instead, he got 10 years.

This was 2 years ago. Recently, a judge overruled the case and was going to let the boy go. A lawyer has now appeal the new ruling and the boy has to stay in jail.

I personally felt this the first ruling on this case was absolutely appauling. How you could put a 17 year old boy in JAIL for having CONSENSUAL oral sex with a 15 year old girl?

I am just wondering what other people feel on this subject.
