Pregnant with the third?

ok big question here and be honest I am pregnant for the third time and I have a 2year old and 3 year old my soon to be husband is fighting me on this one. Which procedure is easier and safer him getting clipped or me getting my tubes tyed?

If those are your only 2 options, it is minor outpatient surgery for him. For you, it is major surgery. Now, if you have a C-section with the third, they could go ahead and get your tubes tied then. My suggestion...don't do the surgery, either one of you. I was able to avoid that route with my husband and I just by getting an IUD. It lasts for 5 years and you don't have to worry about it. Look at all of your options and then make a decision.

It's easier for the man to go in, the recovery time is alot less, and is a simpleprocedure. While having your tubes tied, and more details,and takes alot more time to recover.However, if you are having a c-section, it is easier to have it done then. I myself am pregnant with my third,and my husband and I have decided if I end up with a c-section, I will have my tubes tied then and there, if not, he will be going in.

Him getting clipped is an outpaitent sugery that only requires local pain meds and he can work 2 days later. For you it is major sugery in which you will be admitted and they have to knock you out. You will most likely feel like you went through a c-section and have to take time to get back into the swing of things.If he doesnt want more tell him to buy a bag of peas and get over it or accept as many kids as you have.

It is easier for him to get a vasectomy. However, if neither of you can be persuaded to get surgery, I suggest the Paraguard IUD. It is non hormonal, it uses copper to repell sperm for up to 10 years and is highly effective with hardly any side effects, and very little pain with insertion. It only takes a few seconds to have it put in. I used it for 3 years before TTC now, and I really forgot all about it.

Him ! It can usally be done in the doctors office.And ot much truma after words.Women have to be put under or asleep and they have to cut alot deeper.Good luck

The man is less invasive. It's easy and your in and out in no time with minimal pain.Tell your husband to man up and do it!
