potty, however,? he only uses the potty if he is butt-naked! He can't be naked all the time. I put big boy underwear on, that he picked out, he will potty in them and take them off. If he has on a pull up, same thing. We've tried bribery, rewarding him for wearing underwear and using the potty, after he gets his reward he has an "accident", then the reward is taken away and we start all over, Potty Time Elmo, lots of praising, telling him what a big boy he is for wearing his underwear and keeping them dry and we have tried doing nothing and taking the...he'll do it when he's ready approach. He's been around other boys his age that are potty trained and goes into the bathroom with them, he praises them for going potty then he will use it, but he can't go live with them and their parents won't let their little boys live with us...I've already asked. Just kidding! But really, what am I not doing right? It may sound like we are pressuring him but we really aren't. We've been doing this for a year now.
