My DS is 3 years old and we started potty training 2 weeks ago. He will sit for long periods of time but won't do anything at all (he is either in front of the tv or playing with his toys while sitting on the potty). I've tried pouring some warm water on him to help him pee and it worked in a way (he did some) but the second time I tried it didn't work at all

I also got one of those soft potty seats in case he didn't like the potty. Don't know, thought that he would be more familiar with the regular toilet since he sees us using it. Anyways, again he will sit there for 10 or 15 minutes and then leave without any success.

I have had him naked for hours and when the right time came he hide somewhere and did the job or sometimes he did it in front of me. I keep on telling him that he should use the potty or the regular toilet and also to tell me when he feels he needs to go but it seems to me that he doesn't care. What should I do?

Dont push too hard i know you will get the mums out there that will say my......was trained at 12 month or my....... was trained at 16 month .the truth is it will happen when your little one is ready and if you push before hand you get stressed and so will they,.

No of fence but he should have been potty trained a long time ago but don't set him in front of entertainment put him in the bathroom and run water maybe he will
