It makes you Polish American not half and half.. Half and half would be if your Mom was from Poland and Your Dad was an American..

If both your parents are Polish then yes you are polish. Being born some where else does not change your heritage.

You'd be first generation American. You can say you have a Polish heritage or you're parents are from Poland, but if you're not speaking the language or taking part in Polish customs then stating that you're Polish alone is inaccurate. Stating that you're first generation Polish-American would give the most accurate picture.

You are fully an American citizen with 100% Polish blood and heritage. Almost everyone born in the USA has relatives originally from a different country, be it recently, like you, or many many generations past.

I think it also would decide on DIMIA. My second child was born in Australia as well still live here and have PR BUT since the "father" isnt Australian she has been classed as "AMERICAN" and NOT AUSTRALIAN, she can take out dual-citizenship later on in life......however DIMIA states that she is not AUSTRALIAN.......I think you would have to tie in all sorts of things and not just the cultural background. Just because your born in another country doesnt automatically make you a CITIZEN or worthy of CITIZENSHIP.
