Is normal and healthy to have sex when you are at period?

I was talking with my mother and I said that you can do it in those days and she said that it isn't so healthy!Hey!I am only 14!I haven't make it yet.I just want to find out more thing about sex.

It's not unhealthy. It's messy, but there's no reason why it's "unhealthy".Ask your mother for an explanation.

I don't think it is necessarily unhealthy, but it is sort of nasty. It will make a mess, that is for sure.

It's very healthy. Eases cramping and can lighten the period if you tend to have heavy bleeding. It's messy, but as long as you're with someone who doesn't mind, that's okay.

it's ok to have sex when you have your period, the woman gets more turn on when she has her period and will orgasm even more during her period!but remember to use a rubber during this time because you can get pg allot faster...

Although it is sometimes frowned upon, it is perfectly healthy to have sex during menstruation, and though it is possible it is highly unlikely that a woman will become pregnant during her menstrual period.
